A prayer for start of term, semester or school year…

Heavenly Father,

As we come together again,

widen our vision,

broaden our minds

grow our understanding,

deepen our compassion for those less fortunate,

strengthen our hands for service,

open our mouths to speak words that build others up,

unblock our ears

to hear your voice and to hear others around us.

Make our hearts beat along with yours.

In Jesus’ name.
